Description:Murramarang National Park is located near Bateman's Bay, 206 km / 128 miles southwest of Sydney. It follows 44 km / 27.3 miles of coastline from Long Beach north to Merry Beach near Ulladulla. Visitors can soak up some sun and explore the cliffs, headlands and pristine beaches of the NSW south coast. There are plenty of opportunities for walks, swimming, fishing and surfing. There is abundant birdlife, including peregrine falcons and sea eagles, as well as eastern grey kangaroos. Spotted gums grow right down to the ocean, offering plenty of shade in the warmer months and a stunning backdrop for a nature escape all year round. Visitors can also walk or canoe around Durras Lake. There's a good choice of campgrounds, including caravan and motorhome sites with a range of facilities. Visitors can also book into one of the park accommodation options like Depot Beach cabins, Pretty Beach cabins, Pebbly Beach shacks or Yellow Rock beach house.
