Description:Situated on the northern side of Mount Blackheath (1076 metres) on Shipley Plateau, the lookout provides views over the pastoral Kanimbla Valley and surrounding cliffs. It is also a good spot for watching paragliders. This is one of the destinations on the Blackheath lookout driving route, which cuts through Blue Mountains National Park, however Blackheath Lookout itself is managed by the Blue Mountains City Council. The Mount Blackheath Lookout is approximately 1 hour 47 min from Sydney CBD.
