Description:The City Mutual Building is located in Sydney’s central business district (CBD). Constructed in 1936, the City Mutual Building is culturally significant at an international level as a rare example of Art Deco architecture. The building is recognised as the finest achievement in this style by its notable architect, Emil Sodersteen.
