Description:The Newington Armory site comprises a range of historically significant natural and cultural features including former navy armaments storage and workshop facilities, administration buildings, a small gauge railway and other infrastructure associated with Royal Australian Navy (RAN) activities. The Wharf has dockside dining with a view of the Parramatta River and the industrial cranes previously for unloading goods. Located on the Parramatta River adjacent to Blaxland Riverside Park as part of the former Newington Estate which has become Sydney Olympic Park.
