Description:
Bar Beach is located just south of the city of Newcastle, 2 hours north of Sydney. The bay is enclosed by a high rocky headland populated by houses and a Surf Life Saving Club. The beach also has an ocean swimming pool. Bar Beach Point is a popular surfing break.
