Description:Bird Hide is a flooded forest area with skeletal trees on the edge of Gum Swamp wetland sanctuary, located 4 km south of the town of Forbes on the NW side of the Newell Highway, approximately 376km west of Sydney. Good location for filming birdlife. Late or early light provides stark spectacle of dead trees against water backdrop. Potential background for a chase, thriller, suspense drama.
