Description:Fernleigh track is the disused railway line between Adamstown and Belmont that is known as the old Belmont rail line. The track includes a disused railway tunnel which passes through the beautiful Glenrock State Recreation Area. Fernleigh Track is one of the region’s major shared pathways, which runs alongside an old railway track from Whitebridge to Adamstown. The tunnel runs beneath the Pacific Highway and connects Newcastle with Lake Macquarie.
