Tumbi Umbi is a mostly semi-rural suburb of the Central Coast region of NSW, located north-west of Bateau Bay and situated just over 1 hour north of Sydney off the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. Tumbi Umbi borders the Gosford City Council area and the Wyong Shire Council area. The town has a population of approximately 4900 people and is a somewhat distributed community on the shores of Tuggerah Lake.
