Description:
Kyogle lies west of Byron Bay, north of Casino, 60 metres above sea level on the Richmond River at the base of the Fairy Mountain. The town is surrounded by National Parks including Toonumber National Park, located about 35 km to the west, the Richmond Range National Park about 40km west, and Border Ranges National Park to the north along the state border.
