Description:Yamba Island is situated in the estuary of the Yamba River, with Yamba as its closest town. It has been in private hands for some 20 years with the intention of keeping it in trust as a wilderness sanctuary, protecting its wildlife and flora. It is a large island, with many untouched sites suitable for film work, retreats, and camping. The climate in Yamba is equable all year round, rarely below 20–22 degrees Celsius. Clean air, good diving, and fresh seafood.
