Description:Murrurundi is an historic country town surrounded by steep hills. The area has a history of sheep and cattle grazing and more recently, horse breeding. The town seems a bit more open and desolate than other, more quaint towns, but is not without its charms, and share of picturesque weatherboard cottages.
