Description:Sea Cliff Bridge is the section of Lawrence Hargrave Drive (the actual road name) between Coalcliff and Clifton. Lawrence Hargrave Drive forms part of the larger, figurative, Grand Pacific Drive. The Grand Pacific Drive starts at the Royal National Park and extends down to Wollongong. Opened in December 2005, the bridge is 665m in length, spanning the southern ampitheatre and middle headland. It consists of two 3.5 metre-wide lanes, one metre-wide shoulders, and a separate 2.5 metre-wide pedestrian/cycleway on the eastern (seaward) side. The bridge has been constructed using two methods: a balanced cantilever bridge, at the southern headland, which joins an incrementally launched bridge at the middle headland.
