Description:
Goulburn Railway Station is at the fork in the line between the track to Canberra and the track to Melbourne. It is the terminal station for intercity services on the Southern Highlands line, receiving 5 trains a day in each direction. As a country station it is also serviced by Countrylink trains, 4 a day in each direction. The station retains much of its original architecture and fitout, which has been kept in good condition. Goulburn is Australia’s First Inland City, and features numerous historic buildings both public and private, dating from the early 1800’s.
