Description:Bemboka, “Village in a Valley”, was originally settled in 1871 as a halfway point between Cooma and Bega, although it is much closer to the latter. It is a quaint rural village against the backdrop of the Bemboka National Park, the landscape a combination of the mountain range and the flat farmlands. Attractions include Pipers Lookout and the old Bemboka Brewery. Many of Bemboka’s cottages retain their original Colonial features and style.
