Description:Clareville is located on the western side of Barrenjoey Peninsula on Pittwater, in Sydney’s northern beaches. Sheltered from the ocean, Clareville Beach is quite calm, and could double as a lake. The water is used as a harbour marina for small yachts. There is a small pier / jetty at the northern end of the beach. Beach houses line the beach, closely placed, more weatherboard cottages than the ostentatious Moderns of nearby areas, but still upmarket. Also of note are the boat racks (like bike racks for rowboats) near the beach.
