Located 6 kilometres/ 3.7 miles from Sydney CBD just off Rose Bay, the 1.5-hectare island has spectacular views down the harbour to the Bridge and the Opera House. The island received its name because of its shape - not its wildlife! The Gazebo on Shark Island can accommodate up to 30 people. Picnic tables are dotted across the large grassy area which is surrounded by trees. Facilities include drinking water and toilets.
