Mount Wilson is located off the Bells Line of Road, towards Richmond and is a uniquely different area of the Blue Mountains. There are 7 gardens in Mount Wilson. The area is most famous for its private gardens and fabulous trees.  Mount Wilson also experiences high rainfall and this, combined with the volcanic soils produces the perfect formula for cool-climate gardens. Gardens in Mount Wilson include Yengo Sculpture Gardens featuring Australia's first endangered wildlife reserve, Nooroo including a world famous wisteria collection, Sefton Cottage, Koonawarra, Cherry Cottage, Clairne, Windyridge, Wynsta, Linden, Merry Grath and the overwhelming Lindfield Park.  Mount Wilson holds an annual Autumn Garden Festival during April and May each year.
