Description:Lake St Claire lies 30km north of Singleton at the head of Glennies Creek. It is fed by two brooks, the Carrow and the Fal, both arising in the Mount Royal Range and inundating an area of 1,620 hectares at full capacity. The prime use of the lake is for water storage, but it also provides a valuable recreation resource for the Shire.
