Description:The Australiana Pioneer Village is situated in Rose Street in Wilberforce and is leased to Friends of the Australiana Pioneer Village Society. It has a collection of farm buildings dating from 1823. Some are original & some are reconstructions. There is a woolshed, some heritage cottages, a church, a picnic area & a dam. There is also river frontage onto the Hawkesbury River. The farm is situated approx 5kms north of Windsor. Set on 27 Acres of grounds on the banks of the Hawkesbury River with Heritage Listed buildings dating back to the 1800s. Majority of the buildings are original and moved to the location in one piece. Currently open every Sunday. Previous film locations for Network 7 Wild Boys, Marie Claire Magazine. Was the original location for the only Australian Commercial filmed by Grosby Shoes with John Wayne.
