The two bedrooms feature custom-made pieces including one with a fold away Murphy Bed that can be staged as a dining room or study instead. Exterior electric window shutters can control light in front room and living room The north-facing property also has an established garden, vegetable gardens, a garage/workshop and a pebbled 30 metre driveway. The house is in a quiet location in the 'inner-west' of Katoomba, with proximity to the railway station and shops as well as Blue Mountains National Park. The cottage offers area views across The Gully.
