Description:Cringila is a village situated between Wollongong City and the shores of Lake Illawarra, just west of Port Kembla, on the south coast of NSW. Most buildings date from the 1940's. Five Islands Road is dominated by a variety of heavy industrial and automotive businesses. The largest of these is the BHP Steel Works.
