Description:Originally built by the Catholic Church in 1839 by convicts this stunning three level stone building has been renovated from the ruins of a 160 year old Catholic Church. There is a physical and spiritual connection with Australian pioneering families set in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The Church has featured on Better Homes and Gardens and has been used in commercial films and adverts. It has played hosted to hundreds of weddings over a 11 year period, and the original reconstruction work took 7 years. The Church is a short drive to the historic village of Saint Albans at Lower Macdonald, which is around a 30 minute drive from Wisemans Ferry. At Saint Albans is you will also find the pub, the Settlers Inn Arms. The Church is managed by House Collective Pty Ltd a property management company which also has a portfolio of properties surrounding Saint Albans suitable for film crew stays along with supplier contacts for private chefs, caterers or any other requirements to assist with film. The Church has accommodation for 10 people in five rooms with bathrooms.
