This Sydney Trains tunnel is approximately 100 metres in length and 7 metres wide. This tunnel is an impressive relic of the first freight lines in the 1850’s which were busy up until World War II with freight from yards and harbour dockside rail facilities. Important *** Note, access to this Tunnel is by shared pedestrian & cycle pathway jurisdiction permit approval for production/unit needed to access Sydney Trains Tunnel must also be sought by Place Management NSW (The Goods Line) and City of Sydney for parking requirements.
