The original sandstone house, Dennarque was built in 1879 by former Aide-de-Camp to the Governor, Commissioner for Crown Lands and Clerk of the Executive Council, Edward Merewether, who lived there with his wife Augusta and 10 children. Today, Dennarque Estate is available to those who wish to experience a luxury weekend getaway or a boutique wedding venue for up to 80 guests.
