Description:The Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is a state of the art equestrian facility located in the major regional hub of Tamworth in North Western NSW, Australia. Rodeo Arena. Facilities include: Indoor arena: 40m by 80m arena floor with tiered seating for 3,360. Concourse area that can hold exhibition and trade sites. Mezzanine area that can take temporary seating or double as a corporate area. Mezzanine VIP area near a bar, kiosk, and event offices. Toilets located at both ends, with ticketing box, coffee shop, and event management offices. Sound and lighting systems. Broadcasting and judges' box overhanging the arena. Control room overlooking the interconnected sales ring. Undercroft stock holding yards beneath the stadium for up to 200 head of cattle. Sales ring: Sales ring seats 562 with standing room for another couple of hundred. Sales ring doubles as an indoor warm-up arena. Lift access from ground level to the concourse connects the sales rings with the arena. Stables: 478 stables – 3.6 x 3.6 in size with sliding doors and horse wash bays. An education/training building provides a lecture and demonstration theatre with tiered seating for 44, a veterinary room, utilities room, meeting room and shower and toilet facilities. Outdoor facilities: Campdraft arena. Two 30m by 70m outdoor competition or warm up arenas. Horse sporting fields. Undercover cattle handling yards for up to 400 head. Outdoor exhibition, trade and field day areas. 2 showjumping and dressage areas. 187 powered parking bays adjacent to stables. Truck wash. Additional non-powered camping and parking. Exhibition lawn areas.
