Description:Duck pond surrounded by grass, trees, and a road (Parkes Dr). Picnic tables around pond, fencing on certain sides of the pond. The wooden boardwalk and small dock allow patrons to walk over the water, and watch for ducks, birds, eels, and other animals. It also has a nearby stone pavilion (the Vernon Pavilion) which contains picnic tables and wooden benches. Around the pond are large palm trees, as well as pine and gum trees.
