Description:
This ranch features an enormous flat red dirt desert plain area (claypan) with only one isolated cabin yet is conveniently located only 7.5 miles/12 kilometres north-west of the Silverton Township, near the regional town of Broken Hill in Far West NSW. Belmont Station is located on a Crown Lands Western lands lease near Silverton about 40km from Broken Hill. "Filming of Mad Max Furiosa saw up to 1,000 crew use the property for up to two months, providing a perfect outback site for filming and a production base for marquees for stunts, make-up and costumes."
