Kars Station is over 125yrs old, with an old disused store, blacksmiths shop, traction steam engine, sundial & brick chimney stack. The chimney stack was built to house a pumphouse which pumped water from a 200-250ft well. Kars Station is approx 150,000 acres, and manages 6000 head of sheep & 700 cattle. It is 60kms SE of Broken Hill.
