Urunga is a sleepy coastal village located at the mouth of the Bellinger and Kalang Rivers in the Bellingen Shire.

Located 505 km north of Sydney off the Pacific Highway, Urunga is only 20 minutes from Coffs Harbour airport.

Urunga has retained a charming old world feel. The Urunga Boardwalk is recognised as one of the best on the NSW coast, stretching for over 1 km across the estuarine wetlands at the mouth of Uranga Lagoon, providing views of the town, the banks of the Kalang and Bellinger Rivers, the ocean beyond the river mouth and the Great Dividing Range.

The Ocean View Hotel is a typical grand seaside pub with views across the river mouth. First built in 1895 but destroyed by a fire, it was rebuilt in 1927.
