The historical Day Dream Mine in Broken Hill is located in the far west of NSW, some 1150km west of Sydney, or 510km north-east of Adelaide.

Mining first commenced at this site in 1882. You will see the remains of the original smelter, many of the implements and original stopes. Mining continued here until 1983.

The mine site is 20 kilometres from Broken Hill, 13 kilometres off Silverton Road on a Scenic Drive, with a good access Road.
