Toowoon Bay is a suburb of the Central Coast region of NSW, located on a peninsula between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean south of The Entrance.
Toowoon Bay itself is approximately 1km in length and renowned as a safe beach - the waves are small and the beach is protected from winds and strong currents. The rocky point at the northern and southern ends of the bay together with the natural curve of the shoreline provide for an expansive and well-protected bay. Small trailable boats can be launched from the beach however, 4WD is recommended.
Toowoon Bay was also known previously as Chinamans Beach/Bay.
