Hay Railway Station
Australia / Hay, New South Wales
Location ID: #15788
Superb example of large late 19th Century station. Hay Railway Station offers a superb location for filming. Station has been restored to its former glory. Rail line no longer active. Station faces directly down a major side street. Excellent camera angles from many points around buildings.
Town of Hay has many fine examples of colonial era public buildings architecture. Region is also known for very large shearing sheds, large scale crop production including cotton and very good examples of 'outback' style settings with long straight roads to the horizon. The local river provides excellent locations for watersports and wildlife.
