The historic 1894, wooden Wallaga Lake bridge is located halfway between Bermagui and Narooma (370 kilometres/230 miles from the Sydney CBD) and marks the boundary between the Bega Valley and Eurobodalla shires.

Permission to film is required from the Bega Valley Shire Council. The Angelina Jolie-directed film UNBROKEN included shots of a 1940s truck and car passing over the iconic, wooden bridge.

Wallaga Lake runs from the Summit of Guluga Mountain to the shores of Wallaga Lake, this park is an area of great spiritual significance to the Aboriginal people. There is a 6km walk track to the summit from heritage village Tilba Tilba.The park 10 km north of Bermagui.The park covers an area of 1,237 ha extending westwards from Wallaga Lake.
