Dargan Dam Reserve comprises Dargan Dam and Clarence Dam. Located near the Zig Zag Railway, between Dargan and Clarence. The lake is owned and run by the Department of Lands in Orange.

Access to the lake is good. There are areas where a production could set up camp and cliffs in the area. Great climbing areas but difficult to access by vehicles. “Cosmic County” is a very popular climbing area. There are also a few caves in the area, including “Mad Hatters Hide Away”, used for accommodation.
