Bogan Gate is a progressive rural village with a Memorial Hall, School, Post Office, Police Station, Hotel/ Motel (Meals Available), Service Station, General Store/ Newsagency & Takeaway.

A great rest stop for the weary traveller is Burrawang Park, where you will find a children's playground and BBQ facilities. The nine hole golf course and night-lit tennis courts also provide some great recreation options.
