Portland has many well conserved 19th and 20th Century shopfronts. Main street runs to a very steep hill which provides an excellent vantage point over the town and street. Also part of town are two very large factories (Cement Works) now disused but ready for any shoot requiring an industrial feel. Portland is near Lithgow approximately 40 minutes from Bathurst and around a 2 1/2 hour drive from Sydney.
