Broughton Island is a flat, windswept, cold-climate looking island. The island has a remote feel because there is no man-made boat landing, and no visage of coastal towns. Broughton is larger than Fingal Island and further offshore. Some parts of the island is off limits for filming so you would need to check with National Parks as to exactly where.

It is part of Myall Lakes National Park, with access via boat from Nelson Bay, 12 nautical miles away (1hr).
