Candelo is a small country town on NSW’s far south coast. Set in the dairy country of the Bega Valley, Candelo is 30km inland, 24km south-west of Bega, and just south of Kameruka. Candelo is characterised by its large weatherboard houses, many in good condition, and the green-brown hillside that surrounds the town. The town has also retained many of its nineteenth century buildings.
