Honeymoon Beach, Beecroft Peninsula
Australia / Jervis Bay, New South Wales
Location ID: #15225
Honeymoon Bay (NSW 414) is a crescentic shaped rocky bay, with a 20 m wide opening to Jervis Bay. It contains a curving 100 m long beach that faces west out of the small opening in the low rocks. Conditions are often calm in the bay, and a diving rock is located in the centre of the bay.
Once inside Dart Point the bay shore trends due north along the rocky Groper Coast for 2.5 km to Honeymoon Bay, then continues north as a series of four rock-bordered beaches for 5 km to Green Point, a section of shore called Montagu Roadstead. All the five beaches (NSW 414-418) are backed by densely vegetated terrain and are accessible by gravel roads.
