The Regatta Centre is a purpose built aquatic facility, which was internationally acclaimed as the venue for the rowing and canoeing events at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The natural beauty of the area is further enhanced by the serene expanse of lakes and scenic views of the Lower Blue Mountains. The lakes and parkland cover approximately 200 hectares and incorporate a 2.3km Competition Lake, a 1.5km Warm Up Lake, 1000 seat spectator pavilion and function centre, 5km cycle / walking path, start and finish towers and a 2km road that runs parallel to the course.
