Parramatta Gaol is a now closed prison that was in use from the 1800s to the 2000s in Parramatta North. Parramatta Gaol was constructed between 1835-1842 and was Australia’s oldest serving gaol until it’s closure in 2011. Ownership of the building was transferred to the Deerubbin Local Aboriginal Land Council in 2015. Please arrange approval and access for filming on site.
