Mundi Mundi Plains & Lookout

Australia / Silverton, New South Wales
Location ID: #10582

Mundi Mundi Lookout is a five-minute drive south out of Silverton (or half an hour north of Broken Hill) and offers a view over the seemingly endless Mundi Mundi Plains. The landscape is characterised by vast desert expanse, scrub, and dry, rocky hills. Filmmaker Dr. George Miller used the plains in his post-apocalyptic 1981 movie, Mad Max 2.
