The park is in close proximity to Miranda train station (570m), buses and Westfield Miranda Shopping Centre.
The park contains an active sports youth precinct and playground, tennis courts, sports clubhouses, playing fields and grass netball courts, and is home to the Miranda Magpies. Facilities in the park include public toilets, seating and bubblers.
As part of the implementation of the Seymour Shaw Park Masterplan, we have constructed a new active sports youth precinct and upgraded the open space. The precinct includes shaded social areas, two skate bowls and a skate plaza, a basketball half-court, sculptural features and children’s playground. The children’s playground is shaded and fully fenced and has synthetic softfall for accessibility.

Opening hours and lighting are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The active sports youth precinct and open space upgrade project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Sutherland Shire Council under the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program. The NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program is key to the NSW Government’s broader efforts to provide high-quality public open spaces across the state.
