Built in 1840 as a country retreat for Felix Wilson, Tocal Homestead has one of Australia’s finest collections of colonial farm buildings dating from the 1830s. The Homestead is set among magnificent fig trees with sweeping views overlooking the Tocal lagoon and Paterson River.
The house is only one of the fascinating buildings on this site, with The Barracks which now hosts boutique accommodation, multiple cottages and bars, the stables and the Hay Shed Function Centre. The grounds feature ornate trees including fig trees and an orchard. There are also multiple farm animals, including pigs and horses.
