The Little Red Mountains House is a 120-year-old miners cottage styled with an eclectic mix of modern, mid-century and Art Deco elements. This fun and funky cottage has white interior walls and dark wooden polished floorboards throughout. The house features a retro style kitchen with black appliances and stainless-steel bench tops, large bathroom with bath, a colourful mud room and an enclosed front verandah with reading nook. The two bedrooms feature custom-made pieces including one with a fold away Murphy Bed that can be staged as a dining room or study instead. Exterior electric window shutters can control light in front room and living room The north-facing property also has an established garden, vegetable gardens, a garage/workshop and a pebbled 30 metre driveway. The house is in a quiet location in the 'inner-west' of Katoomba, with proximity to the railway station and shops as well as Blue Mountains National Park.
