Heritage house and garden laid out in 1876 by Charles Moore, the same man who designed laid out the Sydney Botanical Gardens, it was an experimental garden as trees were bought from all around the world to see the grow in cold climate, the volcanic basalt soil is so beautiful and rich the trees grew to impressive Heights. Trees like for Deirdre from Nepal and giant sequoias from California. The Californian redwoods are real sight to see. The garden is open seasonally, autumn and spring or by appointment. The garden also displays beautiful bronze sculptures by world renowned bronze artists from England Lloyd Leblanc and Judith Holmes Drury.
