Mungadal Station
Australia / Hay, New South Wales
Location ID: #10244281
Mungadal is a working sheep station spanning 117,000 hectares across the Hay Plains in south-western NSW. The property expands out to the south, south-east and west of the Hay township, and also includes country north of Hay at One Tree. The landscape on the property ranges from open treeless plains of saltbush shrublands and native grasses through to timbered areas of grey and black box woodland and riverine red gum forest along the Murrumbidgee and Lachlan Rivers. Our location offers big skies and wide open spaces, 180 degree views, spectacular sunrises and sunsets and quintessential Australian river frontage scenery in a unique and beautiful part of the world, as well as a combination of older station buildings and modern infrastructure. In recent years, we have been a location for filming of Mad Max: Furiosa, Mr Inbetween, ABC Landline and European cultural channel, ARTE, as well as both Australian and international photographers.
