Campbell Rhododendron Gardens
Australia / Blackheath, New South Wales
Location ID: #10235257
The Gardens were created in 1970 on 18 hectares of Australian bushland, 1065 metres above sea level in the town of Blackheath, in the beautiful Blue Mountains, NSW. The gardens are unique in that they are planted with rhododendrons, azaleas and other exotic species under a canopy of native eucalypts and bushland. The Gardens are picturesque all year round but especially in April/May with brilliant autumn colours, and in rhodo flowering season in October/November when spectacular display of blooms are at their best. Easy walking tracks, a Lookout with magnificent views, a Lake and picnic facilities make the gardens a wonderful family day out. Accessible toilets are provided.
