Red Hill House was built in 1910 and is one of the area's original cottages, it is a small cream, two story timber cottage, ideally located close to Fairlight village. Enter the house via a newly built-in verandah featuring Australian hardwood lining boards. The master bedroom has been restored in a traditional style and features, antique stained glass windows, original fireplace and dark green painted original lining boards. The rest of the original cottage opens out beyond a second historic fireplace to an open kitchen with intimate and inviting views through to the garden at the rear of the property. There are three more small modern bedrooms upstairs, there are two modern bathrooms, the one upstairs has a deep bath.

Some other beautiful details of the house include, a large Australian hardwood post in the middle of the main open plan living area. Large blackbutt beams stained in Black Japan enclose large glass doors & windows at the rear of the house. A blackbutt panelled boot room also at the rear of the house, opening onto a lush garden, surrounded by an Australian hardwood fence.
