Built in 1834, by the then Colonial Treasurer Campbell Drummond Riddell, Lindesay was the first property to grace Darling Point in Sydney.
This National Trust of Australia (NSW) property, is built in the Gothic Revival style, with stunning Georgian interiors and a fine collection of English and colonial furniture. The home is complemented by an elegant parterre garden and well tended grounds with Sydney Harbour views.
Interiors include a Library, a sun drenched Morning Room and Music Room complete with piano and 1830’s English Harp. Below, the ground floor holds the stone kitchen, servant’s quarters and a freshwater well.
